Director of Corporate Relations
The Director of Corporate Relations will report to the Vice President of Corporate Relations to collaborate and successfully maintain and grow RGMG’s current partners and sponsorships. Directors will also take the initiative of obtaining new corporate partnerships that align with the three pillars of the RGMG. Directors must communicate the value that RGMG has to offer sponsors and focus on meeting the needs of specific companies. Directors will also act as a professional representative of RGMG to any internal and external events.

- Respond to all RGMG and internal related emails and messages within 24 hours of being received
- Obtain new corporate sponsorships and partnerships
- Independently cold call/email current and potential sponsors to maintain strong relationships for RGMG
- Aid in creating both generic and company specific proposals for sponsors
- Accept and thank sponsors for event attendance, collaborations, and donations
- Contribute to collecting research for sponsor companies and industry professionals
- Provide support to RGMG's Corporate Relations where needed
- Contribute to collecting research for sponsor companies and industry professionals
- Provide support to RGMG’s Corporate Relations where needed
- Work with RGMC and Career Fair Directors
- Communicate with VP of Corporate Relations and team members regarding all corporate relations activities
Other Duties:
- Attend all committee and RGMG general meetings
- Attend and participate in all RGMG events
- Attend committee and general socials
- Attend any external events (i.e. conferences, case competitions)
- Pitch the group’s initiatives to students, faculty, professionals, etc. in classrooms and at promotional events
Skills and Qualifications:
- Clear academic standing
- Confident with the use of Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Proficient in writing and verbal communication
- Negotiating skills are an asset
- Must be able to work individually and in a team
- Provide quality work with great attention to detail
- The use of sophistication and professionalism when communicating with sponsors and industry professionals
- Capable of taking initiative towards completing assigned tasks and meeting deadlines
- Must be willing to commute to campus throughout the school year to participate in meetings and events as necessary with exception to prior notice of unavailability
- Highly committed and dedicated to the success of RGMG
- Previous experience within a student group is an asset
- Must be able to commit to 10-15 hours per week to RGMG
